From 17 November 2025 to 29 March 2026, visit the exhibition “Children of all… children of whom? The foundlings of the Lisbon wheel.” An unprecedented curatorial approach invites us to reflect on child abandonment, foster care systems, identity and memory, starting from the token left with the children left on the foundling wheel.

ADORATION OF THE MAGI
This representation is one of the best paintings of the second half of the 16th century in the Museum’s collection.
In it we can recognise one of the episodes of Christ’s childhood, the presentation of the Magi to the Holy Family.
